Blind taste testing

Today Mrs Reid made us sit at our tables and put our heads down, hands up. J.W and Mrs Reid went around putting different types of food in our hands. We were only allowed to feel then smell then finally taste what was in our hands...we couldn't look. There were some really yum things put in our hands and some not so nice...
We felt, smelt and tasted:
  • apple
  • chicken stock powder
  • rock salt
  • dry noodles
  • tinned fruit salad
  • cocoa powder
  • lemon
  • jam
  • cold spaghetti
  • sour lollies
  • lemonade (we had a sip from a cup)
we had to describe what we felt, smelt and tasted and these are some of our describing words:
  • salty
  • strong flavour
  • powdery
  • spicy
  • fine
  • fruity
  • fizzy
  • bitter
  • sweet
  • juicy
  • crunchy
  • crispy
  • solid
  • floury
  • mushy
  • sugary
  • sticky
  • gooey
  • sour
  • soft
  • wet
  • liquid
Can you think of any more words to descibe the foods we had to sample?
